The Boater Ambassador Program is an initiative coordinated by Be Whale Wise and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Our mission is to educate boaters on vessel laws and best practices for boating in waters with Southern Resident killer whales and other marine mammals to help them enjoy their time on the water while maintaining the safety of themselves and the wildlife with which we share the beautiful Salish Sea!
