Meet a Marine Biologist at DeMolay Sandspit

Harbor WildWatch is bringing a staff marine bioloigist to Tacoma DeMolay Sandspit Nature Preserve for four special days in August (Aug 22, 23, 27 & 28)! Stop by while you’re visiting the park to:

-Discover local marine wildlife

-Spot wildlife and learn what you’re seeing -Explore the shoreline and sensitive habitats -Ask a biologist your questions about Puget Sound -Learn Simple ways to help protect this special place

These events will take place in all weather, please dress accordingly. This summer pilot is a partnership between Harbor WildWatch and PenMet Parks to provide environmental education, wildlife interpretation, and stewardship information for visitors.
