Join our Volunteer Naturalist Training program on May 17th for a morning classroom session at the Rosedale Hall, and a afternoon picnic on the beach followed by a lowtide beach session on the Tacoma DeMolay Sand Spit Nature Preserve.

This Volunteer Naturalist Training will have you diving into the fascinating intertidal world of the Puget Sound and greater Salish Sea as you learn to lead/co-lead Low Tide Tours, engage in public outreach, and promote stewardship of our precious marine environment. Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist or a newcomer to the world of marine biology, this program offers the perfect opportunity to connect with nature, make a difference, and inspire others to protect the Salish Sea.

To RSVP for this event, please sign in to your Better Impact account. If you are not already a volunteer, sign up using the VOLUNTEER APPLICATION form to the right, then, purchase a steward club membership. This helps cover the cost of training and includes a name badge, t-shirt, annual commemorative pin, and membership to the Steward Club.
