Fox Island Boat Ramp Low Tide Walk

Get to know the unique animals that inhabit the intertidal zone with biologists and volunteer naturalists! Our low tide beach walks are FREE* and suitable for all ages. Each beach walk will last approximately 60-90 minutes and includes a lesson on beach etiquette. No two beach walks are the same; we never know what amazing animals we will find!

Parking is primitive, watch for potholes and do not block access to the boat launch.  Meet at the top of the boat launch.

Accessibility: Strollers and wheelchairs not recommended. We will cross the road and step over the guardrail on the other side of the road, then take a trail to the beach. Once on the beach, there is easy walking. Look for Harbor WildWatch staff and volunteers wearing blue. If you arrive late, find us on the beach!

Please dress for the weather. Boots or footwear that can get wet is recommended. Flip Flops or other open toed footwear is not recommended for safety reasons.

* Donations are appreciated. Harbor WildWatch is a 501(c)3 organization.
