Volunteer Naturalist Training

Share the wonders of the Salish Sea as a volunteer Naturalist with Harbor WildWatch! Join our Volunteer Naturalist Training program on May 11th for a morning classroom session at the Arletta School House, and a afternoon picnic on the beach followed by a lowtide beach session on the Fox Island Sand Spit.

This Volunteer Naturalist Training will have you diving into the fascinating intertidal world of the Puget Sound and greater Salish Sea as you learn to lead/co-lead beach walks, engage in public outreach, and promote stewardship of our precious marine environment. Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist or a newcomer to the world of marine biology, this program offers the perfect opportunity to connect with nature, make a difference, and inspire others to protect the Salish Sea.
